Services to IAG Providers and Advice Agencies

Ann Reynolds is a qualified adult trainer, NVQ assessor and Internal Verifier and has run learning programmes for IAG advisers for the past ten years, enabling more than 200 people to gain NVQ and NOCN qualifications in Information, Advice and Guidance.

Books

This experience has led to the writing of two books that explain the skills, models and theories needed to provide information, advice and guidance to individuals and groups.

Popular with both trainees and experienced advisers, this book offers a model to keep your advice interviews on track and do the best for your clients. Plenty of illustrations and examples keep it interesting and relevant to a wide range of adviser roles. Guidance theories are introduced and there's a toolkit of bite-sized hints and tips on dealing with the issues clients may present.

Many advisers are expected to work with groups of students and clients, so this book helps you transfer your one-to-one skills to a group setting. In a similar light style, it provides a model structure for planning and delivering your group sessions, with ideas for materials and activities to keep everyone involved and help them learn important skills to progress in life and work.
